Full time hours (we operate a 4 day work week)
Hybrid working (WFH / Glasgow office)
Salary negotiable based on experience

Production Attic are on the search for a General Manager to help run our busy Glasgow production office. We are a small, tight-knit team so your duties will span multiple departments and you’ll be integral to the whole process.

This role would be ideal for someone working in a similar capacity in a larger organisation who is keen for more autonomy.

We are looking for an efficient General Manager with stellar organisation and communication skills to join our Glasgow-based team. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget, liaising with clients, driving sales and reporting to Senior Management.

About you

  • You will thrive in a fast paced creative environment
  • You will have a good understanding of project management (including using PM tools and software)
  • You will have a love (or at least a begrudging respect) of spreadsheets
  • You will have experience in managing schedules, teams and budgets
  • You will ideally have a passion for film and television
  • You are a great self-starter but also love working with other people

Duties

  • Deal with new enquiries and manage the sales pipeline – meeting potential clients, producing quotes and following up on enquiries
  • Schedule projects
  • Project management and coordination at all stages through to delivery
  • Ensure the team are on track for all deliveries by managing their schedules
  • Communicate with clients and manage their expectations
  • Schedule filming and produce shoot documentation
  • Sourcing talent and crew for shoots
  • Manage budgets
  • Review drafts and provide feedback to editors
  • Produce tender submissions

If this sounds like you please email vacancies@productionattic.com with the subject “General Manager Vacancy” including your CV and a short cover letter with why you think you’d be great for the role.

Please note this role will involve travel to client meetings and film shoots so applicants must have a drivers licence.
