2019 continues to be a record year for Production Attic. We’ve travelled all over Scotland for wonderful clients such as the Scottish Football Association, Scottish Government, Scottish Council for Learning Disabilities and Paths For All.

Our crew have loved the chance to visit stunning locations including Inverness, Elgin, Aberdeen, Fraserburgh, Edinburgh, Larbert, Glasgow, Forfar, Dundee and Greenock.

New digs

You may already know that we’re now in a new location in Glasgow’s thriving media quarter.

It’s been a great move for us and we’re excited to continue to build relationships with our neighbouring broadcast houses and fellow production companies.

We’re also excited to reveal our plush new edit suite, which is the perfect base for our busy editing staff.

New address: The Schoolhouse, 2nd Floor, 101 Portman Street, Glasgow, G41 1EJ

It’s all kicking off

We filmed with amputee football Rebecca Sellar, referee Isla Buchanan and Scotland U-19 player Jamie-Lee Napier to share the grassroots work that the Scottish Football Association do.

We had the pleasure of filming Isla Buchanan for another inspirational film as part of the Scottish Football Association Football Saved My Life series. We’re proud to tell her story and chuffed about the overwhelmingly positive feedback the film has received on social media.

Watch the film here.

Making changes

We filmed the Scottish Greens political broadcast for the European elections. We love being involved with campaigns like these, proof that no two days are ever the same in our line of work.

The Scottish Government have extended their free personal care to eligible individuals under the age of 65, and we went along to film a chat about this change in policy between Cabinet Secretary Jeanne Freeman and SCLD representative Cameron Smith.

Pathing the way

We spent most of April on the road filming the 16 finalist stories which were part of the SCLD awards. It was a privilege to watch them be screened to the 300 invited guests at the ceremony at the Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh.

Please take a moment to watch this video which shows the work David Mitchell does and why we so very much deserves his award.

We’ve continued to film some really interesting projects for Paths For All, a Scottish who are championing everyday walking for happiness and health. We met the team at Gaydio, who are producing content to promote sustainable travel options..

We also worked with Universities Scotland to highlight the amazing impact that university research is saving lives everyday.

A Symphony in Stone

We’re really excited to see our documentary about the history of Glasgow architecture be screened at the West End Festival in Glasgow at the end of June!

We got the narrator, legendary Bill Paterson, back into the office to record a special intro for the screening too!
