Searching A Transgender Prisoner: Training Series

A series of separate short films included in a training package produced for The Scottish Prison Service by The Equality Network to show prison staff how to uphold the human rights of transgender prisoners. The films show not only good practice in processing the arrival of a new prisoner who is transgender but also make it clear to the staff why this good practice is so important.

We produced two identical versions of the search films. One contained the search of a trans man and the other a trans woman.
