Learning Disability Awards 2020 - Shot remotely

A series of 15 individual films which we also edited into one 1 hour long film to highlight the winners of the 2020 Learning Disability Awards.

We create inspirational stories for SCLD every year but in 2020, due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to film the Learning Disability Awards finalists in person. Instead we filmed remotely, using the participants mobile phones, many with guidance on lighting/sound/framing from us. We edited this footage alongside photos and videos shared by the winners. We edited this with footage from a presenter we were able to capture in person, some zoom recordings, videos and photos sent in by participants.

We joined participants on Zoom calls to give guidance on lighting, sound and framing over video call. We also produced detailed filming guidelines and supplied professional microphones and phone stands.
