Arianna

Short Film For Production Attic & Vue Cinemas

Arianna is the tale of rivalry at Aultmore Park Primary School. A short film produced for Vue Cinemas to celebrate the first anniversary of Vue Glasgow Fort.

Pupils were asked to design an exciting movie storyboard using 'Hollywood comes to Glasgow Fort' as inspiration. Competition winner Nicole Grant saw her Hollywood dreams come true as her storyboard for Arianna was one of the three winning films to be produced. Two of which were produced by Production Attic.

We filmed the whole film in the school in glorious 4k on a RED Epic camera. We had kids from the school acting as background actors and used a real school talent show as the backdrop for the final scene. The film was screened to the whole school in 4K at the Vue Cinema in Easterhouse.

Kieran Lancini, Vue PR & Publicity Manager, said 'There is clearly a vast amount of local filmmaking talent in Glasgow....It's been fantastic to be able to take this a step further and work with local children to help their aspiring Hollywood dreams come to life...working with passionate local filmmakers to make it happen.'
