What a year it’s been!

At Production Attic we’re always planning ahead and looking forward to our next creative project, but as it’s that time of year again we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all of our achievements this year.

Firstly, we’re proud to say that we completed our feature length documentary on Glasgow architecture, called A Symphony In Stone.

Not only is it a celebration of Scottish architecture but also homegrown talent, featuring narration by Bill Patterson and an original score by Scottish Opera.

You can find out more here.

We also worked on a series of impactful films for the Scottish Football Association.

This includes a particularly powerful video called Football Saved My Life featuring Paul McNeill.

The video explores the important topic of male mental health and how being part of a sporting community can offer comfort and support to those in need.

You can watch the video below which has already been viewed by almost a million people.

We’ve also worked on a project for CalMac Ferries to Scotland and the Scottish Isles. This comprised of twenty one training videos for the company.

We created a promotional film for Revive, the Coalition for Grouse Moor Reform using a mix of images and graphics to share information about the grouse moors and how they are used in Scotland.

We displayed facts and figures to show how little the industry adds to the economy and how it impacts on the animals in the surrounding areas.

We also created an Art Windows and Doors advert for STV which airs this month. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes clip to demonstrate how we like to make the filming process as easy – and enjoyable – as possible!

SCLD are a wonderful returning client of ours and we were pleased to work on a series of films this year for the Learning Disability Awards.

Here you can find their Strategic Communications Officer, Lisa Clark, talking about how we helped them fulfil their branding vision with the use of animation and filming.

In addition to these videos we also worked on a promotional film for the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, behind the scenes filming at the Hydro with SSE, two internal projects for international premium spirits company, Edrington and enjoyed the opportunity to work with the SNP again.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the clients we’ve built relationships with over the last 12 months and wish you all a very happy New Year!
